I like Vinted. I do like my clothes, and I’m not enormously fussed over whether someone has pre-owned them. And being precisely the type of middle-aged, heavy-set glasses, sometimes bearded other times not man that I am, when something that with or is or looks very much like an old football shirt shows up on there at all, my attention is always going to be grabbed. 

It was a couple of weeks ago that I saw it and, I have to admit, it didn’t make much sense. On the one hand, it was gorgeous; a long-sleeved royal blue shirt with two white stripes, one thin and one thick and a manufacturer’s logo with which I was not familiar. On the back was a pleasingly blocky number 3 and the mysterious incantation “VGAH” printed just above it. Where did this mysterious shirt come from? Who owned it? I paid up my three quid to find out a little more.
