Ex London resident here, 12 years living in Enfield. Our neighbours were proper Londoners, born in Tottenham and made the move up to Enfield Lock. They regarded Broxbourne as Not London and Enfield Lock as Very London. Approx 1 mile difference. Bizarrely I used to not think of Enfield as London at all.
